Hi! I am Snigdha Jasthi, a grade 11 student from Delhi Public School, Hyderabad. I am currently working towards creating awareness about Type-1 Diabetes affected children. I have volunteered primarily at Osmania Hospital at the Type-1 Diabetes Clinic. I have interacted with the children who come there every week and have learnt many interesting stories about their lives and their continuous battle with Type-1 Diabetes. Interacting with children has always been fascinating and fun for me, and my experience at the Type-1 Clinic inspired me to start this website. 

 

Why is this for you?

​Most type-1 Diabetics are children and we are here to explain the disease in simple terms so that your children can understand the disease.

​The aim of this website is to provide answers to the common questions which come to the mind of a newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic

 

Resources we think can help

​There are multiple institutes where underprivileged children can get free treatment and insulin. 

​For Example: Osmania general hospitals, Hyderabad, is doing a spectacular job in helping such children. The department of Endocrinology here runs a type-1 clinic every Friday between 9:00-1:00.
