Vaccines to Take
Vaccine Age Group Schedule
Influenza (flu) Every adult Once a year
Pneumococcal (PCV+PPSV) >19 yrs PCV first, PPSV after 1 year
Hepatitis B All adults 3 doses, if not already taken.
Tdap (Tetanus + Diph.) Every adult Booster every 10 yrs.
COVID-19 All ages as per national guidelines
Zoster (Shingles) >50 yrs 2 doses
HPV (optional) Up to 45 yrs For women and men
Special Note:
-Indian guidelines (IAP & NCDC) are similar but stress flu and pneumococcal vaccines
for all diabetics
-Talk to your doctor before taking live vaccines if on immunosuppressants
